Pressure independent control valves (PICVs)

EHS Pressure Indepenent Control Valves are designed for heating and cooling applications in Building Management systems. All valves can be equipped with actuators able to efficienlty control the flow and the energy regardless the pressure fluctuations in the system.

Smart Balancing Control Valve EBV

PICVs

The EBV system is able to measure the pressure difference between upstream and downstream of the valve and to maintain the correct flow despite pressure variations thus ensuring that the flow rate changes only when the energy demand changes or the ΔT is outside the specifications.

Pressure independent control valves VLX

PICVs

LIBRA PICVs are ideal for use in heating/cooling variable flow systems and provide constant flow control within a given range of differential pressure. Dynamic balancing eliminates overflows regardless of fluctuating pressure conditions in the system. The design of VLX valve combines high performance with small size and compact construction. The valve incorporates three critical functions. 1) Pressure Control - A spring-operated diaphragm valve at the inlet of the valve automatically adjusts the differential pressure across the inlet and outlet ports to keep it constant. 2) Flow control - The control function is a remotely actuated valve located downstream the pressure and flow regulators. 3) Max Flow adjustment - An adjustable orifice allows the flow through the valve to be adjusted to the design flow rate. The orifice is combined with the function of the pressure-regulating valve, ensures that the design flow rate is maintained irrespective of varying inlet pressures.
